Dubai Safari Park Welcomes Second Endangered White Rhino Calf Named Salam

Dubai’s Dubai Safari Park has announced the birth of its second endangered white rhino calf, marking a significant step forward in its ongoing wildlife conservation efforts. The news has been welcomed by conservationists worldwide.

The newborn male calf, named Salam—which means “peace” in Arabic—was born to mother Olive and is reported to be in good health. Weighing around 73.5 kilograms at birth, the calf has already begun walking, standing, and feeding under the close supervision of the park’s veterinary and zoological teams.
