In a harrowing incident reported by the Dubai Police on Tuesday, five young men, aged between 18 and 20, suffered injuries after engaging in dangerous stunts in the Al Ruwayyah desert area.
Reckless Driving and Sudden Swerve
The 19-year-old Emirati driver, identified as M.A.M., was driving recklessly and performing stunts in the sandy terrain. A sudden swerve proved catastrophic, causing the vehicle to overturn and resulting in injuries to both the driver and four passengers, according to Maj-Gen Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Department of Traffic at the Dubai Police.
Prompt Police Response: SUV
Upon receiving the accident report at 9 pm on Monday, traffic patrols took immediate action. An image provided by the police depicts the wreckage of the SUV, highlighting shattered windows and a damaged windshield.
Swift Medical Assistance
Maj-Gen Al Mazrouei revealed that the driver and passengers were expeditiously transported to a hospital, with injuries ranging from severe to moderate.
