This initiative coincides with the airline’s anticipation of receiving A350s from mid-year and Boeing 777-Xs starting in 2025, reflecting a substantial commitment with 65 A350s and a mix of 205 777-9s and 777-8s in the order book.
Focus on Emerging Workforce
The recruitment focus is primarily on individuals entering or recently entering the workforce. Emirates is actively seeking fresh graduates with internships or part-time job experience, along with candidates boasting around a year of hospitality or customer service background.
Eligibility Criteria for Emirates Cabin Crew
To be considered for a position as Emirates cabin crew, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages considered advantageous).
- A natural team player with a shining personality.
- Minimum height of 160cm and the ability to reach 212cm.
- Capability to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements.
- At least one year of hospitality or customer service experience.
- Minimum high school (Grade 12) education.
- No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform.

Emirates’ recruitment team plans to conduct open days and assessments in over 460 cities across six continents, ensuring a global reach in the search for suitable candidates.

In 2023, Emirates made significant strides by hiring an impressive 8,000 cabin crew members as part of its post-pandemic service expansion. Recruitment events spanned 353 cities, and by August 2023, the airline’s cabin crew surpassed the 20,000 milestone, reaching a robust count of 21,500.

This training covers a spectrum of transferable skills, including effective communication, initiative, leadership qualities, multicultural teamwork, and mental resilience under pressure. Cabin crew members also have access to the latest training programs and LinkedIn courses.
