The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) announced on Tuesday the successful apprehension of an international criminal group engaged in illegal immigration operations to specific European countries. The arrest was the outcome of meticulous surveillance operations targeting the individuals involved.

Utilizing an advanced tracking system designed to gather information on illicit activities, investigations, and a comprehensive database profiling the network and its members, the GDRFA identified and arrested members of the criminal ring comprising individuals from various nationalities.

The individual coordinating logistics for the criminal network was under surveillance while in the country. Intelligence gathered by GDRFA sources revealed his involvement in facilitating an illegal immigration scheme through one of the nation’s airports. The Ministry of Interior, represented by the airport police, was promptly notified, leading to the formation of a joint team that facilitated the exchange of security information. This collaborative effort resulted in the swift arrest of all gang members involved, who were then referred to the Public Prosecution in Abu Dhabi.
