Suzan Kazzi, Head of Communications at E Wings (operator of Mahzooz), emphasized that immediate lump-sum payouts were standard practice, ensuring all previous winners, including the latest two millionaires, would receive their prizes in full within the stipulated timeframe.

Smaller Prize Winners: Withdrawal Process Unaffected by Pause

Mahzooz clarified that the operational pause would not affect the withdrawal process for winners of smaller prizes, allowing them to access their credit as per the usual procedure.

Licensing Progress: Mahzooz in Talks with Regulatory Body

Mahzooz is currently in discussions with the regulatory body, and the application process for the National Lottery license to Ewings is expected to be completed by the beginning of January 2024. The anticipated timeline for resuming operations, contingent on the license being granted, is set for the first quarter of 2024.
