Thursday’s Temperature Decline: Dubai to Experience 2 to 4°C Drop

Thursday in Dubai is poised for a noticeable temperature decrease of 2 to 4°C until Friday, ushering in a relatively cooler climate. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 25°C, with evening temperatures dropping to 17°C. The forecast also includes a potential for light rain in specific areas, with Ras Al Khaimah anticipating heavy showers.

Insights from NCM: Dr. Ahmed Habib’s Weather Forecast: Cooler Weather

Speaking with Khaleej Times, Dr. Ahmed Habib from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) provided insights into the upcoming weather patterns. He highlighted a combination of medium to low cloud cover over land and sea on Thursday, with anticipated rainfall as a westward-moving low-pressure system progresses between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Dr. Habib emphasized expected humidity in internal and northern areas, describing the day as fair to partly cloudy, occasionally cloudy over islands, and certain coastal and northern regions, with a chance of rainfall.

Recollection of November’s Rainfall: Preparing for Winter’s Arrival: Cooler Weather

Recalling the challenges posed by heavy rainfall in November, Dr. Habib emphasized the concluding autumn season, with winter officially beginning around December 22-23. He noted that the country has experienced average temperatures, slightly higher than usual, with sporadic temperature drops expected for a couple of days until winter officially commences in the third week of December. Traditionally, January is the coldest month, with February recording temperatures lower than December.
